Project Overview: We had the opportunity to produce the video for the 2016 Jesus Prom held at Southland Christian Church in Lexington.
Each year, Southland Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky offers an amazing event for those who face lifelong mental or physical challenges. It’s called Jesus Prom, and approximately a thousand “prommers” gathered to dance, play games, eat, be pampered and loved by more than 1,500 volunteers who join in the fun and cater to their every need.
The free event included makeup stations, professional photo booths, a live band, and immeasurable amounts of smiles and laughter from everyone in attendance.
Luke 14 says, “…when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
