About the Owner
Ryan Worthen is a corporate communicator, business owner and community volunteer with nearly 20 years of experience in creative business consulting.
That One Company, Inc. was started by Ryan in 2004 to provide custom-tailored creative approaches to help small businesses, non-profits, and mission organizations thrive. The scope of his work has included strategic business planning, business development, stakeholder and public relations, copy writing, public speaking, print and web design, video and multimedia production, social media engagement, web and interface usability analysis, corporate social responsibility efforts and more.
Ryan is active in the community and has served in leadership roles for numerous charities and business trade organizations. He is a past president for the Thoroughbred Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, past chair of a national insurance association trade group, and currently serves as a committee chair and member of the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass.
Ryan grew up in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Toledo Christian Schools. He is a former collegiate tennis player and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Asbury College (now Asbury University) in Wilmore, Kentucky. Ryan and his wife Brittany reside in Lexington, Kentucky.
