About the Owner

Ryan Worthen has extensive experience in the creative aspects of business development, stakeholder and public relations, copywriting, public speaking, print and web design, video and multimedia production, social media engagement, web and interface usability analysis, and corporate social responsibility efforts.

Ryan serves as the chair of the marketing and community awareness committee on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass, and is a past president for the Thoroughbred Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. In addition to teaching financial literacy classes to students in Fayette County Schools for the last several years, Ryan is also engaged in many other civic, community and charitable endeavors.

That One Company, Inc. was started in 2004 and is focused on working with small businesses, non-profits, and mission organizations throughout the community seeking growth in the areas of marketing, business development, public relations, and strategic communications.

Ryan grew up in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Toledo Christian Schools. He is a former collegiate tennis player and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Asbury College (now Asbury University) in Wilmore, Kentucky. Ryan and his wife Brittany reside in Lexington, Kentucky.
